Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad Law Center

Before beginning a career as an attorney with his own practice at Presley Law & Associates, P.A. in Wellington, Florida, Michael Presley attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science. To prepare for his career as an attorney, Michael Presley attended the Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale.

The Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad Law Center focuses on teaching not just the practice of the law, but the spirit as well. Courses are taught by practicing judges, scholars, and the instructors include attorneys who bring real-world insight and experience to thei lessons. Law students spend 12 weeks during their final year in full-time internships at a local law office to gain experience and prepare for their own careers. Students are also taught skills such as how to conduct legal research and write summaries and briefs. The courses help students prepare for the Florida bar exam.
